In an abundance of caution, Blackwater Creek Elementary remains closed today to ensure everyone's safety. Suspension of bus service north of Blackwater Creek Elementary in the areas affected by yesterday's evacuation order also continues. Bus service south of the affected area will continue its service to Signal Hill Elementary School and Pemberton Secondary School. Signal Hill Elementary School is welcoming parents and guardians of Blackwater Creek to transport their child(ren) there if they desire. The staff of Blackwater Creek will be in attendance at Signal Hill Elementary today.
